AAC SpecialistWe work with NDIS participants across all plan management types — agency managed, plan managed, and self-managed. All services are delivered by qualified practitioners.
Our specialist practitioners conduct thorough functional behaviour assessments and develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans tailored to each person's needs, goals, and environment.
We work closely with participants, families, support workers, and schools to implement proactive strategies that build skills, increase independence, and reduce behaviours of concern — always without unnecessary restriction.
We provide therapeutic counselling for NDIS participants experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and the emotional challenges that can accompany disability and life change.
Sessions are available in-home, in the community, or via telehealth — whatever creates the right conditions for meaningful therapeutic work.
Our occupational therapists help NDIS participants build the skills and strategies needed to live as independently and meaningfully as possible — at home, at school, and in the community.
Our speech pathologists assess and support communication skills across all ages — from early language development through to social communication and literacy in adults.
Aceso Therapy was founded on the belief that every person, regardless of ability, deserves access to high-quality, genuinely caring support.
Shilpi is a highly experienced NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (Advanced) and registered Counsellor (PACFA) with a deep commitment to improving the lives of those who come to her for support. She founded Aceso Therapy — a proudly Australian practice — to build a service grounded in genuine therapeutic relationships and evidence-based care, right here in Western Sydney.
Having worked globally in psychology and similar fields — including in Singapore, the UAE, and India — Shilpi brings over 15 years of experience post her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, and has been working in this profession for almost 20 years. Now based in Australia, she established Aceso Therapy in Sydney's Hills District to be closer to the communities she calls home.
Shilpi works with children, adults, and families across the lifespan — from toddlers to elders — with particular expertise in ASD, ADHD, neurodevelopmental conditions, trauma, anxiety, and intellectual disability. She delivers Behaviour Support Plans, therapeutic interventions, and counselling, and is also attached to several Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) supporting working adults.
Her approach draws on a wide range of evidence-based frameworks — including ACT, CBT, DBT, Positive Behaviour Support, and trauma-focused therapy — always centring the participant's voice, goals, and lived experience. She also speaks Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu, enabling culturally responsive care for diverse communities.
Every plan, every session, every decision starts with the participant — their goals, their voice, their life.

Shilpi has been incredible with our son. Her behaviour support plan actually works — the strategies are practical, the documentation is thorough, and she genuinely cares. We finally feel heard.
As a Support Coordinator I've referred multiple participants to Aceso Therapy. Shilpi responds quickly, her BSPs are NDIS audit-ready, and she's great at communicating with the whole support team.
The telehealth counselling sessions have been a lifeline for our family. Shilpi is warm, professional and really understands the challenges of living with disability. Highly recommend.
